Summary

R2P provides home care services to older people who have been internally displaced or live in frontline hromadas. Our specialists make regular home visits, assess individual needs, help with cooking and cleaning, accompany beneficiaries to medical appointments, and offer companionship to reduce loneliness. Your contributions help cover the specific needs of each person we support. Together, we bring care, safety and dignity back to people's homes.

Challenge

More than three years of full-scale war have created a new reality: the number of people who need social support has grown sharply, and the national social protection system is working at its limits. Many of them face multiple vulnerabilities - forced displacement, old age, loss of family members, isolation due to limited mobility, disability, or the psychological effects of war. This increases the need for sustainable social support solutions that help people stay safe, cared for and dignified.

Solution

R2P's social workers regularly visit beneficiaries and provide home care services. Donations directly cover individual needs such as food, hygiene products, household supplies, and rehabilitation aids. We already operate in 7+ oblasts (Dnipropetrovska, Kharkivska Vinnytska, Zaporizka, and others) and have supported more than 2,600 people with the help of partners such as USAID, UHF and others.

Long-Term Impact

This is not a one-time humanitarian intervention. Each beneficiary remains under the ongoing supervision of our social workers, helping hromadas withstand the pressures of war. We ensure regular visits, monitor well-being, and provide personalized support to prevent isolation, health decline, and loneliness. Together, we create a circle of dignity and safety where everyone has the right to care and a humane life.
