Street Boys Remain Separated from Their Families

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Reunite 500 Street Boys with Their Families project. Your contribution reflects care for children living without family support. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin the planned reunification activities.

Across many cities, boys continue to live on the streets after leaving home due to abuse, poverty, or neglect. Life on the streets exposes them to further harm, including violence, substance use, and poor living conditions.

Without intervention, many remain disconnected from their families for years, with little chance of returning to a stable home environment.

This project is designed to support 500 street boys through family tracing, temporary shelter, counseling, and safe transport back home. Social workers will also provide follow-up visits to help families rebuild trust and reduce the risk of repeat separation.

With the right support, these boys can leave the streets, reconnect with their families, and begin a more stable life.

We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this program and reach children who need reunification and care.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
