Together, we can help survivors recover from trauma, rebuild their confidence and create safer, more independent futures.
Women and girls in Nepal who experience sexual violence and exploitation often face trauma, stigma, poverty, disrupted education and limited access to health, legal and livelihood services. Those who lack safe support and economic opportunities may remain vulnerable to further violence and exploitation. Survivors need coordinated, survivor-centred support to recover, access their rights and build safer, more independent futures.
Raksha Nepal will provide integrated, survivor-centred support to 100 women and girls based on their individual needs, including protection and shelter, counselling, health and legal services, education, vocational and livelihood training, and employment support. We will coordinate with local governments, service providers and community partners to ensure accessible and appropriate support.
The project will help women and girls move from crisis toward safety, confidence and greater independence. Counselling, education, skills, employment and livelihood opportunities will strengthen decision-making, reduce economic vulnerability and lower the risk of re-exploitation. Stronger referral networks and local partnerships will also improve access to protection and support services for survivors of sexual violence and exploitation in Nepal.
