The annual carbon sequestration for this project of 15 hectares, once planted and a canopy is formed (within the first 5 years), will be approximately 300 metric tons. When you consider that the average per capita emissions in the United States is 20 metric tons/year then if 15 people in the US were to support this project they could proudly say that they are not only carbon negative but also responsible for creating habitat and biodiversity, a future for all life on this Earth.
