behind every face is a story: meet Jean Pierre
Dear Friends,
The Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village family wants to take this moment to thank YOU. We know that your support enables us to pursue our goals of helping some of the most vulnerable kids in Rwanda. Thank you for being our partners, advocates, friends, and supporters.
As we are grateful and proud of the many accomplishments and successes of this past year, we continue to take on the many challenges to achieve our mission, knowing that our work has the power to transform the lives of kids in Rwanda who are most in need. We view our opportunities as challenges, and our challenges as opportunities.
Change in the developing world takes time. We want to mark all of our accomplishments with appreciation for the devotion you have given to the work we do.
Thank you for being our partners and happy holidays. Together, we can!
Warmest wishes,
Danielle Burenstein, Executive Director

Feelin' Full of Thanks
2014 Was Filled With Tremendous Achievements
Our students, faculty and staff were able to accomplish great things and keep Anne's vision and legacy alive and moving forward. This forward momentum is thanks to friends, advocates, and supporters like YOU. Thank you for making all of our achievements possible during the past year. Read about them here.

Village Fellows
Murakoze Cyane 2014 Cohort, Murakaza Neza 2015 Cohort
It is not an overstatement to say that everyone in the Village will miss the 2014 cohort of Village Fellows. Hands-down, the group has been voted as the best we've had to-date (no offense former Fellows!). They've left big shoes to fill for the 2015 cohort. Meet the incoming Fellows
here.

Donations Are On Their Way!
Q: Where in the world is ... the ASYV shipping container?!
A: Somewhere in the middle of the ocean! Thank you to everyone who donated new and gently used items for the Village! A team boxed up all of the items at the end of October, loaded the shipping container (below) and sent them on their way to Rwanda! Estimated arrival date: End of December. See photos here.
