Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your generous support toward the Restore Sight to 500 Nigerians with Cataracts project. Your contribution shows compassion for individuals living with avoidable blindness. However, the amount received so far will not be able to kickstart the project yet, and more support is needed.
Across many communities in Nigeria, people continue to live with blindness caused by cataracts, even though treatment is available. Many cannot afford surgery, while others lack access to equipped facilities and trained personnel.
Without treatment, individuals lose their ability to work, care for themselves, and support their families, increasing dependency and hardship.
This project is designed to provide free cataract surgeries for 500 patients, including surgical kits, lenses, medication, and follow-up care. With a simple procedure, patients can regain sight and return to daily life.
With the right support, more people can see again, regain independence, and improve their quality of life.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this life-changing project.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
