Update from our Country Director on BBC Newsday

By Joe Samuel | Individual Giving Manager

Intense fighting in North Darfur continues with Al Sayah town and the eastern area of El Fasher City being targeted earlier this month. Zamzam Camp, where the situation is already dire, is seeing an influx of more people searching for safety.

Relief International Country Director for Sudan Kashif Shafique spoke with BBC World Service Newsday on September 13, 2024 about the multiple crises the people of Sudan are facing.

Not only do communities remain under violent siege, but cholera cases are rising and the risk of famine is threatening many states.

Thanks to donors like you, dedicated Relief International staff continue to do their level best to provide life-saving care even though is a need for so much more international support.
