2 Days Left

Some of the practical support we provide
Some of the practical support we provide

We have 2 days until our crowdfunding challenge ends. So far you have helped us raise £357! We're hoping to reach £2500 by Monday, so please, please help by sharing our project with your network on facebook or twitter using the following video and links:

Donate just £5 and help Operation Henry reach £2500 by Monday to help them provide much needed practical support and respite to terminally ill patients:

We also wanted to say thank you so much for choosing to support our campaign, we really do appreciate your gift which makes such a huge difference to Operation Henry.

But why do we do what we do?

Pancreatic cancer is known as the silent cancer, the symptoms (which include back pain, sickness, sudden weight loss and jaundice) often go undiagnosed by GP's up until the cancer is so advanced that over 50% of patients are diagnosed in A&E. Then unfortunately the prognoisis is poor with patients often being told they only have a few months to live.

Our beneficiaries are devastated when they are told they only have a few months and their families want to do everything they can to make their last few months as stress free and happy as possible. Our beneficiaries or a family member often come to us feeling very lost and low, but we are here to help. We provide the practical support and respite that the family needs to help them through what may be the darkest moments of their lives.

Why does your donation help?

We are a small charity helping every person that comes to us who is suffering from pancreatic cancer as well as their family. We receive no government funding, and rely on voluntary donations from wonderful people like you!

We do not have anything close to the big budgets that the bigger charities have and can spend on TV adverts and salaries so we decided to set up a free crowdfunding platform (Global Giving UK) and take advantage of social media to help spread the word and raise money which will go directly towards our beneficiaries.

Thank you again for helping us to make a difference to so many lives.
