Construction work of Action for Autism's (AFA) first residential cottage at Ananda progressed well.Structure construction and break work of ground and first floor has been done.The electrical and plumbing work inside the cottage has been completed in ground and first floors.Plastering of internal walls is in progress.
We have taken extensive external development work around the residential cottage.These include clearing the road space,extending the water and sewer lines.We are also in process of setting up a Sewage Treatment Plant.Besides this the electrical cable are being laid to the residential cottage area.
Taking advantage of the monsoon season we have planted approximately 600 saplings.which include fruit bearing, ornamental, shade giving and other trees.
Pilot Programme Over Night Stay at Ananda is continuing.Adults are learning independent living skills while staying without families.
Computer Learning Programme:The computer classes are going well.Children from Gairatpurbas village and other adjoining villages are enthusiastically attending classes.
