Big thank you to keep us on road towards progress. We fitted out a part of second floor to have a pilot residence. We now have a pilot run with a small group of potential residents. Nitin (in yellow T shirt) is the most enthused and eager menber of the group, as you can notice from the pictures.

Nitin and his fellow  'eager beavers'  stirred up tea, washed dishes, played carrom and most importantly had lots of fun. The pilot section of the residence  has functional kitchen, washrooms, furnished bed rooms, dining space. AFA (Action for Autism) team has already done few night stays already to see that things were suitable for the pilot group.

The place already has power connection, lighting, backup generator and water supply. This allows Nitin, Prashaine ( grey shirt) and other residents a safe and comfortable stay. The pilot runs will continue over summer while work progresses on cottage. We plan to be operational in few months depending on funds.

Inclusiveness is at core of our values and community plays a role here.In the vocational building we have started computer classes (  microproject -Computer Class  ) for the village kids like Khushboo to enable digital literacy. This follows succeful health camp done earlier for villagers.

We will be celebrating World Autism Awareness Day (2nd April), and in following week AFA is participating in GlobalGiving's little by little campaign. GlobalGiving has planned this to encourage AFA's patrons to provide regular monthly support, GlobalGiving will be matching 200% of the first donation for new recurring donations. We look forward to your continued support and please do take advantage of the new campaign.

Many thanks again for your support and sharing the cause.
