Forty rural girls from a remote village, Boddu Chinthalapally, District Rural Warangal visited Hyderabad City on 29th & 30th July 2019 with the support of United Way & Hexagon Capability Centre Hyderabad.
For most of the girls it was first time visit to Hyderabad City and travel by train. They had visited various places of interest related to culture and history. These places were Golconda Fort, Nehru Zoological park, Sanjeeviah park, NTR Gardens, Lumbini park, Birla Temple, Forest Academy Charminar & Salar Jung museum. Although the schedule was very hectic, the girls enjoyed every moment.
Tharuni believes that these exposure visit helps to raise their expectations in life and increases the horizons. These visits help them to learn the culture and history of their state.
