For the past 40 years the Resource Alliance, curators of the annual International Fundraising Congress (IFC) in Holland, has been driven by a one goal: to bring the global social impact community together to unleash new ideas, new models and new thinking to mobilise change for good.
Notwithstanding the positive impact the IFC and RA’s other conferences, workshops and capacity building programmes have had over the past four decades, the Resource Alliance has been on a mission to do more and critically reach more – to ensure that the richest learning, skills sharing, idea generation and relationship building is not only accessible for those who can attend their high-value, in-person events.
Our aspiration has been to deliver an online IFC-quality experience for a diverse, multi-lingual, global community of fundraising changemakers through a year-long, always on, always connected vibrant digital community.
Accelerated by COVID-19, this ambitious vision become a reality on the 1 July 2020 with the launch of the Resource Alliance Global Community. Now for the first time fundraisers and changemakers globally can come together as friends or members of the RA Global Community and share their knowledge and expertise, discuss problems and challenges, so that solutions and new innovative practices rise to the top for the benefit of all.
We are determined to continuing pushing boundaries to ensure that the RA Global community is a place where people can grow through learning and grow even more through sharing. A place where each of us can make the greatest possible difference by helping all of us thrive. Because when we do, we will have the greatest hope of building a more just, equitable and healthy world – for everyone.
