Greetings from Juhudi children and welcome for in our platform for updates. In the month of November 18, 2023, we organized football for gender equality which brought together boys and girls from different parts of Trans-Nzoia. The main objective of the event was advocating for gender equality in sports through football, mentorship and community sensitisation. A more inclusive community both genders are treated equally regardless of their social status,age or gender.We used life skills and football3 methodology whereby a team consists of 7 players i.e. 3 girls and 4 boys.
All teams were awarded with trophies,medals, sanitary towels and many other gifts regardless of their position. This event attracted over 200 youths across the county.
