This past three months, we've been heavily focused on expanding and improving our capabilities to respond here at home, as well helping other communities become more prepared. Since our last report, we've:
Trained 24 local rescue professionals in technical rescue skills that would be essential after a major earthquake;
Brought personal and community preparedness training to dozens of citizens of the PNW region;
Begun training 6 new Technical Search Specialists;
Hosted a command and control course for local rescue professionals;
Complete and advanced rope rescue course in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest.
In the coming months, we'll be continuing our push for disaster preparedness and rescuer training by:
Purchasing a new response vehicle;
Developing our incident command course;
Developing three exciting new rescue courses and two medical courses.
All of this is possible because of your contributions! We couldn't be more grateful. Thank you for your ongoing support!
