Twenty-year-old Nisha sips her tea in the morning, smooths her hair, and steps into a day that is entirely her own, free from fear of exploitation. She is preparing to enter adulthood a confident young woman. None of this would have been possible without you.

Nisha was just a young child when she was rescued from the red-light district. Her mother was trafficked and exploited, giving birth to Nisha without knowing who the father was. Having lived the horrors of the sex trade, she sent Nisha to grow up in our safe house, hoping to give her a better life.

Had no one intervened, her story could have followed the same tragic path as her mother. Robbed of her childhood.

Because of you, Nisha was pulled out of harm's way and welcomed into a place where the cycle of poverty an exploitation could be broken.

For the first time, she experienced the love and care that every child deserves. In a safe and loving environment, Nisha began to grow. The fear that once defined her slowly gave way to stability.

Today, at twenty, Nisha lives in our aftercare home, the next step in a journey that has carried her from rescue to readiness. This is where she is learning to stand fully on her own feet, gaining the skills and confidence to launch into independent adulthood.

Where there was once only darkness and hopelessness, there is now possibility, and she faces the future with a steady hard-won strength.
