Rescue Unwanted and Abandoned Companion Birds

by Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue

Indiana

Indiana
Indiana is a baby wild parrot of Telegraph Hill who came to Mickaboo having crashed into a building. She isn't too sure about humans unless they come bearing treats -- then she's happy to step up onto your hand. Indy is relatively quiet and calm (for a conure) and is super-smart; she learned how to "touch" the end of a pen with her beak in ten minutes flat and now her foster home is working with her to get her stepping up consistently. She argues with her friend, Santiago, over who gets to do clicker training. Indy still needs a little work, but has the potential to be a very sweet, very tame companion parrot. She must be adopted with her friend, Santiago. (view small | med | large | orig)
