Everyone at Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue is so excited that Spring is finally here. The dogs are the most excited because they know the pool will soon be opening for them!
The news continues to be very positive for our rescues as we continue to find more and more wonderful families for adoption. We have now rescued 88 Goldens from Turkey and 78 have found their Forever Homes. The reports continue to flood in from these families raving about how easily the dogs have adjusted to their new homes. They all have the familiar Golden traits that we love so much.
We recently held our annual Auction which turned out to be a huge success in so many ways. We held it offsite at a hotel which was more comfortable for everyone as our weather has been very unpredictable of late. We had a number of dogs there to greet everyone plus many wonderful items up for auction.
Please feel free to contact me for any information about our organization. We appreciate the continued support that comes our way at such a critical time in our history. The Turkish Rescues have been a tremendously uplifting experience for everyone but it comes at a very high cost to YGRR. Each Golden cost upwards of $2,000 to bring over from Turkey. We want to be able to continue this project in order to provide a better life for every Golden.
