Well it has been an absolutely fantastic few months bringing in more Goldens from Turkey and most importantly finding Forever Homes for them in a very timely way.
As of now we have rescued 79 Goldens from Turkey, transported them to our facility in Hudson, MA and happily found homes for 72 so far! The quality of these dogs has been amazing in terms of health, temperment and disposition. They have all the golden traits we have all come to love and their ability to adjust to a completely new environment happens very smoothly.
As you can imagine, it takes a staff of experienced and dedicated people to make this program work. Additionally, it takes a tremendous financial impact on us as each golden costs on average $2,000+ from beginning in Turkey until their Forever Home is identified. We appreciate all donations, big and small, in order to be able to continue rescuing these beautiful dogs!
