We are pleased to reporty that we have now brought over 70 Golden's from Turkey since we began this project. The best news is that 63 have now been adopted into their "Forever Homes". We already have appointments scheduled for some of the 7 that are still waiting for adoption. And we have plans for a few more to come over from Turkey in the near future.
These dogs travel like seasoned travellers and this is no easy trip from Turkey to New York to Massachusetts. For the most part the dogs transition very easily and adapt to their new surroundings with little adjustment.
For all of us at Yankee Retriever Rescue this continues to be an extremely rewarding experience though a costly one. Your support will make all the difference in our ability to continue this work on behalf of the Golden population that is suffering in many parts of the world.
