We would like to share some photos taken recently in the field with you.
These images, taken by our project leader Henri, show rescued former child soldiers learning new trades and skills to help them secure a job in the future. Henri and the staff and CRC are not solely dedicated to removing innocent children from devastating conflict, they are also committed to ensuring that every child placed under their protection is given every chance to lead a safe, happy and productive life away from violence.
Thanks to the donations we recieved from people like you, CRC can continue to rescue child soldiers in DR Congo. The work is diffcult - and often life-threatening - but Henri and his staff know that stopping children becoming soldiers in these brutal conflicts can counter violence in their country.
