Last Months Case Highlight

By Aditya Makharia | Vice-President

What kind of anger makes a person pick up a nail-studded stick and beat a helpless dog?

That is how Jeet was found—with puncture wounds covering his body, each one a reminder of the blows he had endured. One wound came frighteningly close to his eye. Just an inch more, and Jeet could have lost his sight forever. His cone was soaked in blood, his body was exhausted, and his stomach was completely empty. We can only imagine how long he lay hidden somewhere, afraid to move, waiting for the pain to stop.

But Jeet cannot wait for that pain to disappear on its own. He needs surgery. He needs medicines. He needs someone to pay for the treatment that can put his life back together. He didn't choose what happened to him, but today, we get to choose what happens next.

Because every time we look away, another animal becomes the next Jeet. And if someone can raise their hand to hurt him, we need more people willing to raise theirs to save him. Don't just write “Jeet, we are there for you.” Be there. Donate towards Jeet's treatment today, and share this story. Let the next thing that spreads across India not be another video of cruelty—but thousands of people choosing to fight back with kindness.
