At Karma Foundation, our mission has always been simple yet profound — to save lives, alleviate suffering, and give India’s street animals the care, dignity, and love they deserve.
Despite the challenges we face, we continue to run our Rescue and Rehabilitation Project with unwavering commitment and compassion. Every single day, our team responds to distress calls for injured, abandoned, and abused animals — providing emergency rescues, medical care, rehabilitation, and adoption support.

Challenges and Current Realities
The past few months have been especially trying. With the growing negativity and fear surrounding street dogs across many parts of India, public empathy and financial support for animal welfare have taken a sharp hit.
Fundraising has become increasingly difficult, and sustaining medical supplies, food, and rescue logistics on limited funds is a daily challenge. Despite this, our team has refused to slow down. We continue to rescue, treat, and rehabilitate as many animals as our resources allow — because for us, every single life matters.
Our Commitment
Even with limited resources, we are doing our absolute best to keep our ambulances running, our shelter functional, and our medical unit fully active. Every rescued animal — whether it’s a dog hit by a vehicle, a cat abandoned on the streets, or a bird tangled in kite strings — is a life we’re determined to save.
We may be stretched thin, but we are not giving up.
