June 12th is the 10th anniversary of World Day Against Child Labor, which marks the adoption of the landmark International Labor Organization Convention No. 182. It’s a call to action against worst forms of child labor, including carpet work.
On this anniversary, I wanted to thank you and all of our GlobalGiving friends for your generosity. Thanks to your investment in this project, GoodWeave is making significant impact. Since our founding:
Hopefully, with your continued support, we won’t need World Day Against Child Labor in the near future. Thank you for being a part of the movement to end child servitude—on June 12th and year-round.
With gratitude,
Nina Smith
