Thanks to your gift World Concern has been able to provide shelter materials and hygiene kits, meeting critical needs for thousands of Rohingya refugees who fled with nothing.
Right now World Concern is distributing emergency supplies, reaching 22,000 Rohingya refugees. Just this week, more than 3,000 families received much-needed aid.
Thanks to your generosity, families who have yet to receive any aid and have been without shelter for almost two months are now protected.
Fifty-one-year-old Aadil was among the refugees who have received emergency supplies. “I lost everything, my house and contents, cows, goats and a huge amount of land with rice. Fortunately my family is fine, though struggling. I cannot say thank you enough,” he said.
Your gift helps mothers and children who now have a tent to sleep under and protection against diseases that are so common in overcrowded camps.
As much as funding allows, we will continue to aid refugees in greatest need through the coming months.
