Thanks to you, nutrition clinics in the Kutupalong Refugee Camp in Bangladesh are making sure moms and their littles ones receive the nutrition they need to be healthy. The clinics specifically help pregnant and lactating women, and children between 6 months and 5 years, in 3 underserved areas of the camp.
Mothers now have access to nutrition clinics that are supplementing the diets of 15,000 pregnant and lactating women, and children under age 5.
Research shows that in utero through the first 2 years of life are the most important for body and brain development, and long term health. Without proper nutrition during this time, children lack the nutrients their growing bodies and brains need to develop to their full potential. But when they eat food that includes all the protein, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats they need, it builds a foundation of health they can build on for the rest of their lives.
Your gift is giving little ones what they need to eat to develop properly and have good health. This is an investment that will yield dividends for years to come!
In addition, your gift helps provide food for entire families, clean water for drinking, emergency shelter supplies, and hygiene products.
Thank you so much for giving!
