Nearly 1000 Darüssafaka students, without a mother or a father, who have been remote-learning from their family homes in 70 cities of our country for a year and a half due to the coronavirus pandemic, are returned to Darüssafaka, their abode of compassion.
We prepared welcome back our students one more time after a year and a half, as Darüssafaka, where students have been happily running in its corridors, waking up peacefully in its dorm, and where warm food has been cooked in its kitchens and students have worked in its study halls since 1863.
We are both a school and a home to these children. We have prepared for the 2021-2022 school year with this understanding in mind. With your support we will carry through this difficult year too, and as it has always been for the last 158 years, we will continue to turn promising gems into valuable assets who will change the future.
Thank you once again for making these accomplishments possible and sharing in our mission to create "equal opportunity in education” in Turkey.
