Dear friends, donors and supporters,

Warm greetings, and thank you for your continued support.

This April marked an exciting step forward for our project, as we moved from planning into direct community impact. One of our key highlights this month has been the launch of our collaboration with Inyenyeri, a group of 10 inspiring women committed to restoring their environment around Gishwati-Mukura National Park.

With your support, we provided 11 sewing machines and fabric, enabling the group to begin practical activities that combine livelihood improvement with environmental responsibility. For many of these women, this is more than a new skill it is a pathway to independence and a chance to actively contribute to conservation efforts in their community.

At the same time, we continued engaging students, schools, and local leaders in environmental awareness activities, reinforcing the importance of protecting the Eastern chimpanzees and their fragile habitat.

While our project focuses on the conservation of the endangered Eastern chimpanzees, your support also helps protect many other species that share this unique ecosystem such as the golden monkeys pictured in this report. By preserving and restoring this habitat, we are safeguarding the rich biodiversity of the region as a whole.

What makes this month especially meaningful is seeing these efforts come together education, community action, and conservation creating real momentum on the ground.

We are grateful to have you as part of this journey. Your support is helping turn ideas into lasting impact
