Dear friends, donors and supporters,

It is my honour to have a such opportunity to get in touch with you via this progressive report. I know that you have been following our work via our social media and other source of information which makes us strong in regards to achieving our goal. As mentioned in the previous progressive report, thanks to your generosity, the project has been able to raise funds that have enabled us to organize two seasons of environmental education. This has driven our activities for the reporting period as we built on that to maintain the interaction and exchange of information between the project stakeholders including staff, students, school leaders, park and local authorities on our shared value of the conservation of our Eastern chimpanzees listed on the IUCN red list of threatened species.

Another great news is that, we managed to start working with Inyenyeri, which i s a 10 women group established to drive Nature-based solutions for the restoration of Gishwati-Mukura National Park, home to the endangered East African Chimpanzees. We started by providing 11 sewing machines, and fabric to start with.

For us, this a great opportunity to synergize for the future of our cousins.

Love you more
