Dear friends, donors and supporters,
It is my honour to have a such opportunity to get in touch with you via this progressive report. I know that you have been following our work via our social media and other source of information which makes us strong in regards to achieving our goal. As mentioned in the previous progressive report, thanks to your generosity, the project has been able to raise funds that have enabled us to organize two seasons of environmental education. This has driven our activities for the reporting period as we built on that to maintain the interaction and exchange of information between the project stakeholders including staff, students, school leaders, park and local authorities on our shared value of the conservation of our Eastern chimpanzees listed on the IUCN red list of threatened species. For this, we used the established school tree nurseries to nurture Nature Based Solutions to protect the GIshwati-Mukura National Park, home to the Eastern Chimpanzees and other rare species of animals and plants. We believe that very soon, the nursery will provide us with enough trees to embark on the next phase of the project which is Reforestation. We always expect your usual support to make this happen. Once more, thank you for your continued support without which our success would be possible.
Once more thank you
