VOICE Trust joined WEEDS (Women Education and Employment Development Society) based at Nagercoil in Kaniyakumari District, State of of Tamil Nadu, India to appeal to Friends through GlobalGiving for Relief to 660 families by Ockhi Cyclone.
Initial help was provided through WEEDS people who were affected by ockhi cyclone on 07.03.2018. 10 families were selected and they were given cooking vessels in tribal area.
Members of the family told it is big help for them. For, no help has come to them after Ockhi Cyclone in December 2017.
They appreciated the donations given by Friends through GlobalGiving.
True, a great beginning is made. VOICE Trust appeals for more donations to assist all 660 families.
