Project background
East Africa Hunger Crisis Fund- Emergency Grants donated to Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment (FACE South Sudan) through GlobalGiving Response Fund approval meant to support the most vulnerable persons with Relief (food and none-foot items) in South Sudan. The primary target beneficiaries of this relief are; Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) who migrated from their home State due to severe flooding and settled in the outskirt of Juba City. There are approximately 14,500 Internal Displaced Persons (Women, Men, children, disabled and elderly), 2200 households with 700 new arrivals. They live under poor living conditions, they suffer from immense hunger, and they depend on relief support from other Non-Governmental organizations (NGOs) such as this.

ü Primary target beneficiaries: Women, People with disabilities, and elderly in Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps.
ü # of people and households supported: 1500 households and 10,000people (7000 women and 3000 Men)received emergency relief.
Methodology: The distribution of this Relief was door-to-door visit relief support & in group shifts.
