This project is designed to support the underserved and disaster-affected communities of rural Sindh, where people live in remote areas with poor infrastructure and rely on daily labor to earn their livelihood. These families are particularly vulnerable during emergencies such as heavy rains and floods, which often force them to abandon their homes and take refuge along roadsides.
With the support of GlobalGiving, this project helps target families in urgent need, ensuring they receive timely assistance during crises. Our partnership with GlobalGiving enables us to secure critical funds that address the immediate and long-term needs of these communities during emergencies.
Many of these families live in economically challenged rural towns, where even minor disasters can have devastating effects. Through this initiative, we are working hand-in-hand with the affected communities to maximize local resources, build resilience, and prepare for future challenges.
At SMPD, we are committed to standing with these underdeveloped communities. We believe it is our moral and social responsibility to bring them hope, dignity, and encouragement.
We are deeply grateful to our supporters and to the GlobalGiving platform for enabling us to serve humanity in its most vulnerable corners.
