The second term calender went on smoothly with children doing their best in school work. During the second term we reveived guests who donated play ground equipment, toys and clothes for children. One guest also did buy food stuff enough to feed children for a month.
In the schools calender here, the 2nd Term that normaly starts at the start of May is mixed with both academic and co curriculum activities, these includes inter primary athletics competitions and music festivals. Our children were excited to particpate in these activities in thier school.
We plant maize in the centre for food and green maize roasting. There is always an excitement among children when time for roasting green maize comes, they always enjoy this excercise and so during weeding they gladly the enjoy weeding as they cannot wait see maize ready for roasting that would be ready in this next phase of school starting September.
During the August holidays visited their relations and friends . This Last week many have come back ready to embark on an academic tour. This will also be the last term in thier grades and many are upbeat to work hard to improave on thier studies.
