On 15th June, A one day special Sports day Program for children with disabilities was successfully organized by National Intellectual Disability welfare Organization, Bhaktapur Nepal (Rastriya Sustsa Manasthiti Kalyan Sanstha , Nepal) at Sanothimi football ground, Bhaktapur. The program aimed to encourage physical fitness, self-confidence, team work, social interaction and active participation among children and youth with disabilities.
The program began with a welcome speech by the organizer. Various Sports Activities such as relay race, high jump other were arranged in sport day program. The program was attended by the chief guest, special guests representative from different organizations, Teachers, Volunteers and other supporters. Children with different types of disabilities came from different Organizations were actively participated in a variety of sport activities. The children participated with great determination and joy.
Children with disabilities of Patan CBR Organization were participated in the sport day Program. They were very excited and performed different sports activities like 100 meter relay race, High jump other. They demonstrated great effort and enthusiasm throughout the event. Children were awarded medal and certificates for their outstanding performance. Teachers, parents, volunteers continuously encouraged and cheered for the participants, creating a positive and supportive environment.
At the end of sport competitions, medals, certificates and prizes were distributed to the participants. The chief guest congratulated all the children for their courage, effort and active participation in sport activities. It brought happiness and excitement to all participating children and provided them with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. It was a memorable and joyful to everyone.
