For the past few weeks we have been visiting the school site with various contractors requesting quotes for the maintenance work that is to be undertaken. The priority is to change out the roofs completey including new roofing sub structures. Additional work required includes floor and tile repairs, new windows, rain gutters, a full new paint job, washrooms and septic system. Fundraising has been slow to start so at this point we are planning to complete the roof work in December and hoping for additional funding that will help us complete the project in January. The parents and students of the school have been advised of the upcoming project and have agreed to help out with labour.
