We are very happy to report that this project is complete! The Manzana Dos School Rehab was a huge success in large part due to a very engaged community that volunteered their time and energy to help complete this project. The finished rehab included a brand new roof for the primary and pre-school buildings (3 classrooms in total) plus concrete repairs and new paint for for the 3 classrooms. New desks for 75 students and 35 refurbished desks - a big thanks to our local carpentry team for volunteering their time to rehab these desks. 3 new washrooms with flushing toilets and a urinal for the boys plus a new water tower, new water storage tank and a new pump. The school is now in excellent condition and will be maintained this way by our Waves of Hope maintenance crew (led by Marlon and our scholarship students) and the local parents and students. A big thanks to all of you for donating your time, energy and money in support of this project!
