Dear Donors,
Thanks to your donations the inmates of the Special Prison have been trained in so many trades like Tailoring, vermi compost production, candle, washing powder, incense powder making, etc. These trainings have given them courage and confidence to face their future and the community once they get released. The trainings have also helped them keep themselves busy and engaged instead of idling away the time in prison and dwelling in the past/fearful thoughts.
The women who were forced into activities that conflict with law, either because of their poverty or due to emotions were now given a new livelihood skill which will help them to get settled with self pride. All this is possible only with your support. You made this happen.
Your continued support (both financial and moral) will help other women inmates who want to change. The organisation is now planning to give training on Kundan Jewellery production to the inmates. The training will be given to 30 beneficiaries for a month. Kundan Jewellery is the art of making jewels with gem stones. The women are fond of these jewellery as they are cheaper and it comes in vibrant colours that match their attire. Hence it is a profitable venture.
So kindly spread words about this project to your friends and relatives. We can start the training in the next month if we receive the required donation of $360
We require generous donors to support us continue working for this cause. Kindly help us.
Regards
