Volunteers Philip Hunter and Rory Buckworth have been busy painting Chapakharka school, one of the three earthquake-damaged schools that we rebuilt through this project. While doing so they made this film about the impact the project has had on the community. We are continuing to fundraise towards the operating costs of the school and specifically towards setting up an income generation programme that will allow us to cover these costs internally over the long term. We expect to be able to provide free school lunches for the children through growing mushrooms, a high value crop in Nepal. A report on that aspect of our work will follow.
Many thanks for your support!
