Monsoon is creeping in but our works on Tioman island is still going strong. Yesterday, a total of 14 divers from De Dive's crew and Reef Check Malaysia came together to remove a huge fishing net at Tokong Burung.
The huge ghost net covered over 100m2 of the reefs. Three dives were carried out to remove the net, unfortunately we only managed to remove 80% of it.
Fear not, we will be back with the team to remove the remaining 20%.
