Many people have forgotten the disaster caused more than three years ago by the earthquake that destroyed a large part of the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, but not its inhabitants, who emotionally and physically suffered many losses, including their housing, business and in particular, their kitchens, a place where the women produce their tortilla chips called totopos, a traditional product, basic product in their diet and which they sell to generate an income and feed their family. Since then, only 16 kitchens have been rebuilt.
Time has been tough and with the impact of the pandemic it has worsened, however, with a smile and a light in their eyes, women still hope to rebuild their kitchens and dream of recovering their old way of life.
With your help, it is possible for women to regain their main source of income and tradition, giving them and their children a new lease of life.
His dream can come true with your donation, give them a chance.
