Dear Friends.
Its is a pleasure for us share with you excellent news about Rebuilding Their Kitchens in Oaxaca Mexico, By Fundación Origen supported by Global Giving.
Advances in kitchens part III by Fundación Origen.
There has been great progress for women in Oaxaca, Mexico!
With the help of crowdfunding from Global Giving, we have been able to build 16 artisanal kitchens for the communities of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in Oaxaca located in the municipality of Santiago Niltepec
These kitchens are being really useful for our beneficiaries and their families because thanks to them, they can continue making "totopos" (food made from corn that is part of the traditional diet in the region) and revive the community economy, since in addition to self-consumption, the beneficiary families market the product locally, this represents an improvement in obtaining resources and the family economy.
With this project, we are really changing people's lives because they can now move forward with their activities, food processing and regain self-confidence after the devastating earthquakes in September 2017.
We have achieved our goal, by rebuilding 16 kitchens together! Let's continue working for the welfare of Oaxaca families, Fundación Origen.
