Tri Rantna Coperative secondary, School and Navin Gram Siksha Mandir Secondary School
According to our aim to help the vulnerable people, society, institution as a whole community, PSD support to the provide sound an environment to the Tri Ratna Cooperative Secondary School at Bugmati and Navin Gram Siksha Mandir Secondary School at Shankarpur where they helped to build the two room school building, walkaway to play yard and play yard design and construction with equipments. As an earlier report we already submitted our completion of the reconstruction the buildings as well as community view about the Mahendra Lila Higher Secondary School in Nawalpur, and Bigyan Primary School, Harmi, Gorkha. Now we are moving to provide other facilities in other school who are also damage from earthquake.
In this time, we worked with the above schools which are needed to help for running the schools, these places also affected by earthquake and still suffering from the various problems such as lack building to study, drinking water and sanitation and learning environment. As a result, PSD just focused the worked with them according to priorities as well as financial status because PSD doesn’t has sufficient fund to support them to flourish. According to priorities PSD support to build two rooms building for Navin Gram Siksha Mandir at the moment to survive the students. PSD still looking for the fund to help this school to make like a school learning place where they can develop their knowledge by holistic view.
Similarly, PSD support to the Tri Ratna Cooperative Secondary School at Bugmati to make the good educational an environment for this school and the community by holistic approach. So, PSD helped to do nine room’s floor smoothing work and three room partition because it was just hall and full of dust even students were surviving just for the education. In addition, PSD also focus for the play group children for their holistic develop because they need to place for learning and playing as well. So, it helped to build a swing and playground for children.
In addition, we focused to the students for their regular classes without any problems such physical as well as mental. So, our volunteers did different activities such as game, photography to encourage them to share their problem and get the solution. Students have still in fear of tremor which is not easy to eradicate from them even it’s not like earlier. Obviously it’s hard to completely rid off the nightmare especially for the kids. Furthermore, volunteers and teachers work together to teach the students where they can share their feelings, knowledge and it’s a way to exchange their culture too, which is benefited for both side.
Regarding Teachers, students and community, they praised our work and expected to get this kind of support again because it not enough for their basic development and also which they feel this project for them and way to show their dream. After completion the school building, they said that “we see ray of our hope for education” even it is not enough for the students which is bring us by PSD because they show the ray of light. School’s parents said that at least we can the dream by our children.
