Greene Lamp Helping People, Changing Lives

By Angela Bates | Executive Director

Greene Lamp successfully allocated the GlobalGiving funds across the communities it serves impacted by Hurricane Florence.  The Agency continues to receive requests for assistance for housing repairs, furnishings, and appliances.  At present, the Agency has expended all readily available funds earmarked for Hurricane Florence impacted areas.  The Agency maintains intimate contact with local long term recovery groups, is involved in the criteria and selection of those who have applied for Hurricane Florence funds.  In addition, Greene Lamp also collaborates with other community resources to aid those impacted by the hurricane.  As well, Greene Lamp continues to research other funding sources specifically for Hurricane Florence victims.  Therefore, Greene Lamp does not have anything additional to report.
