By Lewis McIlwain (Mac) | Project Leader Support
As we continue to reach our community friends in Baltimore, Maryland, Thirst No More Corporation, through our RAP Initiative, are faced with a donation crisis that could be seen as discouraging, however, we have used this deficit in funding to re-evaluate how effective our program is. We feel we owe it to our faithful donors, to provide the best community presence possible. In recent weeks, we have gained support from the State of Maryland's Department of Human Services. Their representatives have now become a welcome presence at our monthly outreach programs; offering many city resources to aid our community friends with many free services provided by the city. We have been solicited the services of a registered nurse who provides blood pressure screening to our community. We are very hopeful that these changes, along with other ideas on the horizon, will once again show new donors that we are serious about our love and support for Baltimore residents.
