Since the ceasefire deal has been announced, the displaced population in Gaza Strip has been returning to the North of Gaza, where the infrastructure has been decimated, access to water is extremely limited, and local municipalities and NGOs are unable to respond to the sheer need across the Northern regions.
The Sameer project has stepped up to provide water distributions across many regions in Gaza and the North as follow.
Gaza City:
- Al-Thawra Street & Al-Akrad Camp in Al-Rimal neighborhood – 5,000 liters
- Bahrain School in Tel Al-Hawa – 5,000 liters
- East Al-Tufah – 6,000 liters
- Al Nakhl Street in Al-Tufah – 6,000 liters
- Al Tawaheen Street in Al-Shajaiyah – 4,000 liters
- Alkeybots Street in Al-Tufah – 5,000 liters
- Al-Tawfiq Street in Al-Shujaiyah – 7,000 liters
- Al-Beltaji Street in Al-Shujaiyah neighborhood – 7,000 liters
- Al Samer – 5,000 liters
- Salahadin Mosque in Al-Zaytoun – 5,000 liters
Jabalia:
- Center of Jabalia Camp – 5,000 liters
- Abu Hussien School Area in Jabalia – 5,000 liters
- Falasteen School Area in Jabalia – 5,000 liters
- Alfalouja in Jabalia Camp – 5,000 liters
Beit Lahia:
- Al Salateen – 4,250 liters
- Al Hatabiya – 4,250 liters
- Al-Baraka – 4,250 liters
- Al Shaymaa – 4,250 liters
