When a Donation Makes a Difference: Bread That Sustains Nahid's Family

As part of Amal Al-Umma Organization’s efforts to support affected families in northern Syria, bread assistance was delivered this week to the family of the child Nahid, who resides in Ahtimilat Camp.
Nahid lives with her mother and her sister Rowan under difficult conditions after losing their father during the tragic events in Syria. The family faces daily challenges in securing basic food needs, especially in a camp environment lacking the most essential necessities of life.
What Was Provided?
- Distribution of a sufficient amount of bread to support the family for a suitable period.
- Ensuring the assistance reached the mother directly, as she is responsible for caring for her two daughters.
- Following up on the family’s situation to guarantee continued food support when needed.

We would like to share with you a heartwarming moment made possible by your generous contributions. We were able to deliver a food basket to the family of young Ahmad, who lives in difficult conditions on the outskirts of Azaz in northern Syria.
Ahmad is a young boy living with his parents and siblings in a modest shelter that lacks the basic necessities of a dignified life. The family suffers from a lack of resources and soaring prices, making it a constant struggle to provide daily meals. In the midst of this hardship, your food basket arrived — a merciful hand that eased the burden of their need.
The basket contained essential food items sufficient for an entire month, helping the family overcome part of their daily struggles and offering moments of reassurance in a life filled with instability.
You were the reason behind this change. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to bring smiles to faces worn down by poverty and displacement.

In the midst of the harsh conditions faced by displaced families in northern Syria, your generous donation has made a significant difference in easing the suffering of many—among them, Mrs. Fatima and her four children, who currently reside in a temporary shelter within a modest home on the outskirts of Suran.
Mrs. Fatima endures difficult living conditions and struggles daily to secure the basic necessities for her children. Thanks to your kind support, we were able to provide a comprehensive food basket containing essential items sufficient for an entire month, helping the family get through this tough time.
