During the last week of May, the Trustees visited the Rainforest Conservation & Education Center, where several essential upgrades were completed, including urgent plumbing / electrical repairs and the delivery of new furniture to accomodate volunteers and research scientists. Their visit also highlighted additional needs: a roof leak in the kitchen must be addressed to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and ready for conservation and education activities.
These improvements are critical to maintaining a space where research, community engagement, and environmental stewardship can thrive. As we continue strengthening the Rainforest Conservation & Education Center, your support helps ensure that this vital hub remains fully operational and capable of advancing our mission. This progress also aligns with the broader responsibility we honor each year on World Rainforest Day, celebrated each year on June 22nd — a moment that calls us to reflect on the fragility of these ecosystems and the collective action required to protect them.
Thanks to your support, Rainforest Protectors Trust is safeguarding critical rainforest corridors, preventing deforestation, and protecting the natural heritage that millions of species — and countless communities — rely on for survival. Your generosity strengthens the frontline defense of some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.
