Hi
Cow is useful to humans in various ways and has served the human society for thousands of years. The Cow is the most important domestic animal as it gives us milk- which is used in the manufacturing of all the dairy products like paneer, ghee, curd, butter, cheese etc. Milk in itself is a very important and a nutritious part of our diet.
Cows are a great asset for the farmers as they help in the ploughing of the land and make farming much more easy. The excreta or the dung of the cow is used as a natural manure for the fields on which crops or the plantation is grown. This manure helps in providing essential nutrition to the crops and aids in their growth. This manure is also used as a source of fuel energy.
The manure is collected and dumped in a pit, the anaerobic bacteria, present in the pit, ferments the manure and releases a gas called as biogas. Biogas can be used for various purposes like cooking food.
Cows, in the olden days, were also used in the transportation sector, they used to drag the bullock carts. They could carry all kinds of stuff and heavy loads or help the people in travelling from one place to another and made transportation easy.
The humans should be highly grateful to the cow as it provides all the basic amenities to our society. They should never be given any sort of pain and should be loved immensely.
In-fact it is worshipped in our country India and is considered as a holy creature. But nowadays this animal is being exploited because of its high market value as it provides the society with lots of goods.
This should not happen as cow is a very gentle and a calm animal and is an integral part of this ecosystem, without it, the survival of the human society will be very difficult.
