With the start of the new school year, we have a 3 classes of incoming 6th graders who will be learning for the first time about their changing bodies.
In Cambodia, the school year starts on 1 November.
The students will receive accurate, positive information, that will lesson their anxiety and prepare them for their new development. This will help them celebrate the value of girlhood.
The boys will have separate anatomy lessons so that there is no embarassment between the two sexes.
The favorite session is always the reproductive segment. Our facilitators make the classes fun and interactive.
Each year, the new workshops build on the succession of the subjects of previous years.
Our team is reviewing the materials and our seamstresses are sewing the sanitary pads.
Thank you for your support in this important project celebrating the rite of passage with dignity.
