Dear friends and supporters,
We are very happy to share our newest Annual Report for 2023 with you.
2023 was a special and exceptional year for us. While the situation for refugees in Greece deteriorated noticeably and our professional services were needed more and more, we were delighted to receive the Red Cross Award from the Swiss Red Cross and the attention it attracted. Financially, we were able to cover all our expenses and even rebuild the reserves that were strained during COVID-19 and close the year with a positive result.
In the last year, we welcomed many displaced women and their children in our Day Centres on Lesvos and in Athens and were able to offer them psychosocial support tailored to their individual needs. To learn more about our activities in 2023, you can read the Annual Report which is attached.
We want to thank everyone who supported SAO and therefore displaced women in Greece- without you, it wouldn't have been possible!
